Shipping & Returns
What postage costs, how long it takes, and what happens if something is not right.

Postage
- Standard — $12.90, free on orders over $120
- 3–6 business days once dispatched. Australia Post, tracked.
- Express — $24.90
- 1–2 business days to most metropolitan addresses once dispatched.
- Collection from the workshop — free
- Ask when we call to confirm your order and we will arrange a time in Perth, Western Australia.
Both figures are flat rates anywhere in Australia. We do not currently ship overseas — email hello@cubycrafts.com.au if you need us to and we will see what it would cost.
When it ships
Delivery time is dispatch time plus postage time, and dispatch is the part that depends on us. Because everything is printed to order, the clock starts when the order is confirmed and payment arranged, not when you press the button:
- Small pieces usually go out within 48 hours.
- Larger or multi-part jobs run 3–5 business days before dispatch.
- Custom jobs run to whatever we agreed in the quote.
Express postage buys a faster trip, not a faster print. If a deadline is tight, say so when you order and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
You get a tracking number by email when your parcel is dispatched.
If it arrives damaged
Take a photo of the parcel and the part before you unpack any further, and email it to hello@cubycrafts.com.au within 7 days. We will reprint and resend at our cost. We would rather sort it out than debate whose fault the postage was.
If tracking says delivered and it is not there, tell us — we will chase Australia Post with you.
Returns
If something is faulty or not what we described
You are covered by the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law, and we honour them. Email us with your order reference and a photo. Depending on how serious the problem is, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, and we will cover return postage where a return is needed.
What counts as a fault is judged against what a 3D printed part reasonably is. A cracked part, a wrong item, a missing piece or a print that failed partway is a fault. Visible layer lines, a slight colour difference from the photo, and a tolerance of around half a millimetre are how the process works — those are described on the Terms of Sale page and are not defects.
If you have changed your mind
Everything here is printed for you after you order, so a returned item cannot be sold to anyone else. For that reason we do not offer change-of-mind returns on made-to-order or custom items.
What we do offer instead: cancel any time before we start printing, in full. That window is real — we call to confirm every order before it goes on the plate, which is your chance to change your mind, change the colour, or walk away.
None of this affects your rights when something is actually faulty.
Starting a return
Email hello@cubycrafts.com.au with your order reference, what is wrong and a photo. Do not send anything back before we have replied — we may not need it returned at all, and if we do we will tell you where and cover the postage. Refunds go back the way you paid, within 5 business days of us agreeing to one.
