Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it removed.
Last updated 3 September 2026
The short version. We collect what we need to print your order and get it to you — your name, email, phone number and delivery address. We never see your card details, because no payment is taken through this website. We do not sell or share your details with anyone, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers. We take reasonable steps to keep what you send us safe — and say plainly below where the limits of that are.
Who this is about
CubyCrafts (ABN 64 327 637 725), a 3D printing workshop in Perth, Western Australia. You can reach us at hello@cubycrafts.com.au.
What we collect
- When you place an order
- Your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, any delivery note you add, and what you ordered. We ask for a phone number because we call to confirm orders before printing.
- When you ask for a quote
- Your name, email address, an optional phone number, your description of the job, and the model or photo you attach if you attach one.
- When you subscribe to the newsletter
- Your email address, and nothing else.
That is the whole list. There are no accounts to create, so there is no password to store, and we ask for nothing that is not needed to do the work.
What we never collect
Card and bank details. This website takes no payment. When an order comes in we contact you to arrange payment directly — bank transfer, PayID, or on collection — so card numbers never touch the site and are never stored by us.
Where it is kept
Orders and quotes are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. Access is restricted at the database itself rather than only in the page: this website can add an order or a quote but cannot read one back, so the records are reachable only by a signed-in administrator.
When an order or quote arrives we are also sent a notification email, which passes through Google's servers. The email contains the same details you submitted.
Files you attach to a quote
A file you send with a quote request is kept in a private storage area of the same service. It is not published on this site, does not appear in any public listing, and is not indexed by search engines. When an administrator opens your request, a link is generated for that moment and stops working shortly afterwards.
Being straight about the limits of that: a link is a link for as long as it lives, and no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us and we do not share it with anyone, but we cannot promise absolute security, and you should treat this the way you would treat sending a file to any small business. If a design is commercially sensitive, say so when you send it — we will delete it as soon as the job is quoted or finished rather than keeping it on file.
Cookies and what your browser stores
We set no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker on this site.
Your basket is kept in your own browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh. It never leaves your device until you submit an order, and clearing your browser data clears it.
One thing worth naming: our typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so Google's servers see your IP address when a page loads. If that matters to you, a content blocker stops it and the site still renders in its fallback typeface.
How long we keep it
Order and quote records are kept while we may still need them — to honour a warranty claim, reprint a part you ordered before, or meet the record-keeping periods the tax law sets. Quote attachments are kept while the quote is live and for a reasonable period after, in case you come back to it.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
Email hello@cubycrafts.com.au and ask. We will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, and delete what we are not required to keep. We do not charge for this and we aim to answer within a few business days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first — most things are a misunderstanding we can fix quickly. If we cannot resolve it, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
If something goes wrong
If information you gave us is lost, or reached someone it should not have, and that is likely to cause you harm, we will tell you — and tell you what we think you should do about it — as soon as we reasonably can after we find out. We will not sit on it and hope you do not notice.
Where the law requires it, we will also notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything significant we will also mention when we next email you.
